Three Great Creations By You Fundraising Ideas
- Sell a finished keepsake at a profit.
Simply buy a retail kit for an entire class or club to use in making a finished
item that is slated for sale at an auction or other special event.
- We frequently hear stories about outrageous prices being paid by families at silent auctions for a single classroom book, plate or clock.
- You can also allow every family to buy extra copies of finished keepsakes at a specified price. All of our kits include a free "Fundraising Option" whereby we send you a customized fundraising order form, along with your finished keepsake, for taking multiple re-orders of a particular finished item. Set any price for the keepsake and be amazed at the participation and profit, which is partly due to the fact that the more you sell, the cheaper your price from us.
- Sell every family their own child's keepsake at profit.
Use the IlluStory Classroom Project Materials or copies of the Plate Works or Kid Clock Retail Kit Drawing Pages to have students make finished keepsakes that parent's buy at a profit. (Does not include PhotoStory kit.)
- IlluStory School Program
Buy low cost School Project Materials for children to create their masterpieces. Once student's finish their drawing(s) and / or story, send the unpublished stories home with our free brochures and customized fundraising forms for families to pay for its publication into one or more keepsakes. Parents can't resist! (Order IlluStory School Publishing Project Materials with the Family Funded Option and set your own price for originals and extras.)
- Plate Works or Kid Clock
Do either project by buying only one Plate Works or Kid Clock Retail Kit. These kits include the cost of one finished item but allow you to copy the drawing pages included for how ever many students you have. Send the finished, but not yet produced, drawing home with your own take home letter designed to collect money for the production of one or more finished keepsakes at any price you set.
- With both projects, families have a second option to buy additional reproductions of finished keepsakes at a profit to you after they receive back their first order.
- Sell our kits at profit.
We make our retail kits available to qualified non-profit organizations at a special price so that you can resell them at a profit. Sure our products are well known, especially among families with kids, but why are they great for fundraising?
- The keepsakes made from our kits become treasured by families, making the kits even more desired each year you sell them.
- Every kit includes options for making extra duplicates of the finished keepsake, which are terrific gifts for family and friends, especially grandparents.
- Promoting our kits promotes literacy and artistic effort, a much better image for your school or organization than candy or gift wrap.
Start by ordering at least one of each kit you intend to sell at the regular retail price, and we'll give you free brochures to use at school events (craft nights, etc.), book fairs and for door-to-door sales. If you are a non profit organization and buy at least a total of six kits in any combination, you'll qualify for the special pricing below.

Which program is best for us?
If your school has never done any of our projects before, we suggest starting with the first program and working your way down the list in subsequent years, or fundraisers though-out the year.
- First Fundraiser - Sell a finished keepsake at a profit through a silent auction.
The magic that happens when families actually see their child's artistic effort in its professionally produced, keepsake form, is phenomenal. The auction not only produces a terrific profit (you will not believe the prices offered!), but it exposes families to the special nature of our items which sets the stage for the greater participation possible with our other programs. However, after the auction time is closed, we suggest allowing any family to match the highest bid offered in order to also receive a reproduction of the finished keepsake.
- Second Fundraiser - Sell a finished keepsake at a profit to all families at a specified price.
Now that families know the price these finished keepsakes can bring, they are grateful for the lower specified price, and you will find a terrific broad based participation.
- Third Fundraiser - Sell every family their own child's keepsake at profit.
The previous exposure to how finished items look is quite helpful in obtaining orders for them before they are produced, which is what is entailed in this program. However, participation is also aided from the free brochures we provide, families ability to see the creation just before it is produced, and the fact that it is entirely their own child's creation. Of course, families are also provided with the option of reordering additional reproductions after seeing their first order.
- Fourth Fundraiser - Sell our kits at profit.
Now that families (and even the neighbors) are quite familiar with the finished items, you will find it quite easy to sell our kits. At this point, families are aware of how terrific the finished items are as gifts for other family members, and how appealing the kits are simply as gifts themselves.
Continue with the fourth idea, or start the cycle over!
